Both factories of Sensus (Roosendaal and Zwolle) are awarded for their Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) program.
TPM is a worldwide applied continuous improvement system within the industry which is assessed and awarded by the Japanese Institute for Plant Maintenance. The system contributes to improving safety, secure and reliable production and maintenance activities, as well as stabilizing and improving quality.
“We keep track on continuous improvement with TPM as our compass. Together we move towards common objectives and TPM helps us to connect people and keep focus,” says Mark Huysman, Manager Operations at Sensus. “Multi-disciplinary teams are working on effective changes on Safety, Quality and Productivity. People feel more responsible, take ownership and are proud of achievements made. They are more aware of their personal impact on overall Sensus results.”
